If you haven’t heard of YouTube star DevinSuperTramp — well, you’re not exactly in the minority, as there are seven billion of us, but you get the point. The man has four million+ subscribers around the world, whom he constantly entertains and thrills with his wildly premised action videos.
We gave Devin a Solo and let him do what he wished with it. He took Solo to Sydney to shoot a video that debuted yesterday, a risk-rich live-action tribute to the crazy Parkour moves from the video game Mirror’s Edge: climbing walls, leaping from roofs, even a running flip over a spiked iron fence. What better way to convey action sequences than with a camera that’s in action itself?
What’s more, Devin ended up not only filming this video with Solo, he gave the drone a leading role. Solo’s got character. See what I mean:
