One man who has had enough experience travelling the world as Hillary Clinton’s senior adviser to look into his own crystal ball is Alec Ross. His new book The Industries of the Future looks at the sorts of changes that are going to emerge in the next 20 years from the commercialisation of genomics to the impact of robotics and whether the next world war will be a cyber war.
